“BÛEHNENKIND – A Collection Behind the Scenes” is a capsule collection that interprets basic aspects of the musical genre as well as the stage technique of theater productions and thus gives a little insight into the staging of productions. Selected features are creatively implemented by design elements and brought together in clothing. This creates a collection that offers everyday garments as well as an elegant evening wear and can be combined with each other in a style mix. The character of the musical is represented by feminine and elegant silhouettes as well as soft, light fabrics. The crafting technique with Smok takes up the sophisticated tailoring and precision as well as the cost of costume design for the entertainment musical. The components of the stage technology are exemplified by masculine, heavy materials and constructive lines. Truss drawings and a rigging plan as digital printing reflect the technical elements of a production. The diagonal construction within the crossbeam is taken up in the seam guide as well as in the smock. In addition, an authentic stage velor is recycled and reused in the collection, underscoring the liaison between the two themes. Silver shirt clips were collected, recycled and also used as highlight in the clothing.
